We use this site to catch-up newcomers to music and encourage exploration with advanced students. HOOKTHEORY AND THEORYTAB

The Hooktheory series is a paid subsciption book & site, but the other resources by three Ph.D rock musicians from U.C. Berkeley. They use pop/rock music as a guide for many concepts, and have the interactive, colourful visuals to back it up. The coolest free features: Theorytab & Hookpad. Theorytab analyzes over 8,000 pop songs by chord structure, melody, and form. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LOOK NO HANDS

Though "fun" and "worksheets" don't normally pair well, this Australian based music theory company offers free, printable worksheets in PDF format.
